02.08.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1575: I note that both chairs are presently intact and sturdy, with well-carved apron and shou symbol at the seat back, there is inherent tonal variations and figuring of the wood, as well as some minute chips to the lacquer placed around joinery seams, the edges of the seat are deliberately irregular, and both chairs have a split near the central region of the seat panel, each with light lifting near the seam, I observe minute typical surface wear such as light abrasions
