06.05.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 2258: As described one has a star hairline underfoot but remains intact, I note that both vases are presently intact with central drilled hole underfoot, there is typical minor iron pitting, and the gilt and enameled decoration is overall well-retained, one vase with two minor glue repairs to the tail of one foo lion handle, UV light examination does not reveal evidence of further restoration, both vases would benefit from a gentle cleaning to resolve dirt and grime buildup commensurate with age and use
