(lot of 2) Framed oil on canvas paintings, Floral still life (tulips, roses, lilies, morning glories and other flowers in a sculpted urn), circle of Giacomo Nani (Italian, 1698-1770), sight: approx 70.25"h, 49.25"w, overall: 79"h, 58"w

8.21.25-In my opinion regarding LOT: 3202 – the works are quite large and currently hanging, I am unable to view the rear canvases in full, please refer to online images, a UV light examination reveals to each an old varnish layer, heavy craquelure throughout, areas of inpainting and several small repairs (further evidenced by small patches verso, see images), scattered paint flakes, and multiple thinned areas of paint, heaviest at the central right quadrants, while not loose, the canvases are not extremely taught and exhibit some give, I am unsure if they have been relined, both works fit slightly small within their frames leaving a minor gap, most visible to the work on the right, frames are overall intact with joints remaining tight, some small losses with visible gesso, rubs, wear and touchups to paint and minor wood wear is present, I further note evidence of old woodworm with some wood loss along the side edges, the work on the right further shows several thinned areas of paint, tonal variation, and stabilization to possible repairs, please disregard the dark shadow in the upper right corner of the image as it is due to lighting and objects hung above, the work on the left further shows a possible repair or evidence of an old stretcher line along the top edge and upper left quadrant, along with scattered thinned areas of paint and tonal variation, overall condition issues are commensurate with 18th century age and handling, I am not an expert on such works so have provided numerous high-resolution images for review, please let me know if you would like further information
