(pair) Continental gilt bronze and crystal four-light girandole table lamps, early 20th c., each having turned-form finial, over tiered frame issuing four scrolled arms, terminating on molded bobeches and faux candles, hung with faceted crystal drops and beaded swag, rising on scalloped base, observed operating for five minutes, approx 25"h, 9.25"diam, 26.5lbs total **Provenance: From the Byram Family's Above Stratford Mansion. John Byram, a prominent Austin-based real estate developer, and his late wife Sally Byram curated this French Provincial style estate with the help of notable architects and interior designers. The home has remained untouched since Sally's untimely passing in 2006, serving as a testament to her taste for sophistication and craftsmanship**

Condition

CR 3.24.25-In my opinion regarding: LOT 2323: As described the pair was observed operating, I note that the girandoles are presently intact and stand sturdy, all elements appearing securely joined, one having a small cluster of swags that are slightly tangled, both having comparable degrees of typical oxidation with light mellowing, rubs, and spotting of the patina, I observe a sparse amount of minute pitting, the spiked finial of each is loosely secured with a strand of wire, causing the element to sit slightly off kilter, there are a few losses of crystal drops, as is typical, as week as a small amount of minute flea bites to edges of crystal elements, which are also typical and commensurate with use
