3.14.25-In my opinion regarding LOT: 3131-I am not an expert on such works, please let me know should you have further questions, both works exhibit age

1- the canvas is taught and relined, likley to stabilize the work and address restorations, I note a slim line running across the entirety of the upper canvas which may be a repair, I have taken images for your review, a careful and thorough UV light examination reveals heavy old varnish, minor craquelure inpainting, particularly in the upper sky, and lower left corner, there is some paint wear along the canvas edge with some small losses, the gilt trim liner and wood frame both show some consistent wear, flakes to finish, touchups and loss, please refer to online images for a view of the verso 

2- the canvas is taught and relined, likely to stabilize the work and address restorations, I note a slim line running across the entirety of the upper canvas which may be a repair, I have taken images for your review, a UV examination reveals heavy varnish, inpainted areas of varied size throughout the work, I know some paint wear and small losses along canvas edge, minor craquelure, several small areas of stabilized repair to canvas, see image, it is stabilized, a small stabilized hole at lower, the gilt trim liner and wood frame both show some consistent wear, flakes to finish, touchups and loss, please refer to online images for a view of the verso
