10.31.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 2514: I note that both vessels are presently intact, the transferred decoration being well-retained, the pot having a very small glaze chip to the central body, handles remaining secure at joinery of both vessels, edges and rims remaining smooth and free of observed chips at this time, a UV light examination reveals a region of professional restoration below the handle of the pitcher, upon a subsequent close visual examination of the affected area there are a few minute seams and the area is slightly yellowed in appearance (images of the area under UV light available upon request), which is typical of these restorations, and there are typical minor rubs to the gilt accents of the pitcher and pot
