02.05.26 - In my opinion regarding LOT 1173: As described one of the chairs exhibits separation along the piping seam at the meeting point of the arm and seat back that is overall minor, I note that both chairs stand sturdy, the leather upholstery remains securely bound throughout and free from observed tearing, having typical tonal variations associated with light fading, discoloration/ staining, and spotting commensurate with age and use, the nail-head trim remains secure with typical patination, the edges of the piping trimming the seat back have loose ends, which appears inherent to the design, but are easily concealed by tucking into seam
