10.8.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT 3008: As described the cassolettes are lacking some segments of garland swags, others are detached at one end, close visual examination reveals one with some minor chipping near the handle joinery (see image), the other with comparable minor chipping at the lower body, I do not currently observe hairlines/ fractures, and UV light examination does not reveal restoration, the metal elements remain securely mounted, with patination and mellowing, one of the marble vessels is mounted slightly off-kilter on the base (see image)
