08.28.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 3340: I note that both urns are presently intact and structurally, with the handles appearing securely fastened to the bronze, the bronze having patination throughout with spotting concentrated at the neck, there is typical light wear to the gilt with tonal variations, I observe a few minor abrasions to the shoulder region of both urns commensurate with use, and both marble bases exhibit varying degrees of chipping, most of it being minor, and UV light examination reveals several minor hairlines with professional reinforcement
