09/15/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT : 3122- the chairs are in sturdy and stable condition, the seat springs retain some resilience but are somewhat bouncy, with wear and compression to the interior fill/padding, the upholstery is largely intact, however there are scattered small holes, threadbare areas, rubs, and minor losses, particularly at protruding and high-use areas, I note scattered spotting and general discoloration, the upholstery would likely benefit from professional cleaning, the frames display nicks, small areas of wood wear and loss, with evidence of old woodworm/insect activity consistent with origin, the bright gilded surfaces exhibit variation and mellowing, with scattered rubs and surface wear, all commensurate with origin, age and use
