07/06/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT 1431: Upon close visual and UV light examinations, I note that the painted decoration is overall well-preserved and free from notable losses or rubs, the black trim at the lower edge of foot appears to possibly have a couple spots of later touch ups, these spots are matte in appearance however they do not visibly fluoresce under blacklight (see images), one of the vases with a minute stable hairline extending from the lower edge of foot (see image), UV light examination is otherwise unremarkable, both vases having typical crazing to the white ground, particularly at the shoulders (see images), but is overall minor
