(pair) French Neoclassical cast iron garden stools, after a design by the Val d'Osne Foundry, late 19th/ early 20th c., pierced circular lattice seat, on x-form base, approx 17"h, 18"w, 14.75"d **Provenance: The Tarrytown, Austin, Texas estate of Janice Holliman Stanfield** **PLEASE NOTE: All cast stone and garden pieces in this auction have inherent flaws and evidence of outdoor use. Most are likely to have small chips, hairlines or imperfections. Please assume they are not in perfect condition and bid accordingly.**
10.23.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT 3286: Both stools stand sturdy and appear structurally secure throughout, the painted finish is worn, such as flaked losses commensurate with outdoor use, and oxidation throughout, the oxidation is slightly transferred to some areas of remaining white paint, resulting in a slightly yellowed appearance, one stool having trim at the edges of seat that is very lightly loose but remains fully structurally stable
