10.24.24-I note that both chairs are presently intact and structurally sturdy, the loose seat cushions fit comfortably within frame, the upholstery remaining taut around the perimeter and being free from presently observed tearing, the frames having tonal variation from light surface wear and rubs to the finish, the back splats are currently free from splits and are well preserved, both chairs having typical minor splits, one chair with loss along seam of split near center of crest rail (see image), both chairs having evidence of old woodworm concentrated to the aprons, and having minor typical surface wear such as small nicks, abrasions, and chips commensurate with age and use
