08.13.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT 3221: I note that both commodes stand sturdy and appear structurally secure throughout, the marble tops with sparse minor chipping consistent with use, one marble top with professional restoration at the back right-hand corner (see image), the drawers operate smoothly and retain overall well-kept/ clean interiors, cabinet doors remain tight on hinges however they have a tendency to open when in the unlocked position, the veneer having scattered small chips and losses, some spots with patched or filled concealment, one of the commodes with a small loss to a marquetry foliate (see image), also with typical small, stable splits along the grain, overall I observe typical minor surface wear such as light abrasions in nicks, as well as aforementioned veneer chipping
