CR 3.27.25-In my opinion regarding: LOT 3157: I note that the pair of candelabra are presently intact and stand sturdy, the shell and coral material appearing to remain securely mounted, with scattered typical shell losses and minor glue repairs, mostly occurring at the bobeche, as well as some candle wax residue, both being commensurate with use, the organic material with naturally occurring pitting, holes, fissures, and inclusions, shells are inherently irregular with natural flaws, the silver-painted finish of the bronze being overall well-preserved with typical tonal variations from light rubs, mellowing, and a few small flaked paint losses commensurate with age and use
