(pair) Italian mid-century modern mahogany bedside cabinets, c.1950s, each having inset glass top, above fall-front cabinet door, revealing open interior, with stringwork trim and fluted corner posts, rising on tapered legs, ending on brass cap feet, approx 23.5"h, 21.75"w, 13"d
8.21.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT: 1138- please pardon my images, the pair are situated in a dark and cramped area of the gallery, both glass tops are intact and free of apparent chips or cracks, there is a short slim area of paint loss along the back edge of one top, very minor, both display typical light wear, a few minute veneer losses, rubs, nicks and I note some minor paint to front edge of one, this cabinet also needs an adjustment to the door catch, it is slightly loose and the door easily opens, I do not think that this would be difficult to adjust, the inner façade of door on this case is with a repair, see image, the other cabinet shows wood wear to lower reeded trim above the leg, the leg is intact with a wood wear and a circular abrasion? / dark area, mostly visible from the side/back, this does not appear to carry through or be a restoration, however I am unsure so have taken images for your review, all mentioned commensurate with the age and use of the nightstands
