8.18.25- In my opinion regarding LOT: 3482 – the pair are stable and sturdy, standing well, a UV light examination reveals some areas of typical professional stabilization consistent with the natural imperfections of the stone, such as inherent inclusions, fissures, and natural characteristics, stone is mottled with striations, one figure shows a repair to the ear visible under UV light, one with a possible repair to paw toe, see image, both figures display adhesive at the point where the chain is attached to the neck, there is no evidence of repair in this area, though the area beneath the chain cannot be examined, so I am unsure, both figures also exhibit lines and fissures that do not react under UV light, it is uncertain whether these are natural joins in the stone or areas of restoration, I have taken many images for you to review, both show small losses and chips to the teeth and some roughness along the edges,, the stone surface appears to have been sealed for protection, overall the condition is consistent with the material and display, with no unstable or missing elements noted
