(pair) Large Chinese cloisonne enamel square ice chests on stands, each having rectangular covers with pierced lucky coin motifs, dual side handles, with repeating calligraphic and stylized "shou" characters on teal ground, the interiors lined with rosewood paneling, overall: approx 32"h, 27"w, 27"d **Note: Chinese cloisonne ice chests, previously being crafted of wood, were popularized in the Qing dynasty for traditional use of cooling food and beverage, but were also used to diffuse cool air permeating through the pierced covers**

4.27.25-In my opinion regarding LOT: 4294- both ice chests are intact and sit comfortably atop their accompanying pedestal bases, the covers nesting securely in place, both structures remain sturdy, the exposed metal trim is with expected tonal variation, light patination, surface rubbing, and mellowing of the gilt finish, I note some nicks, small dings and minor abrasion, the enamel surfaces are well preserved with only scattered minor losses, the affected areas being small in scale and visible in the provided images, both chests display scattered areas of professionally filled restoration (see images) along with minor pitting inherent to the enamel curing process, one ice chest has a few small holes to the enamel at the base or underside, only visible when turned upside down, the other appears largely intact, both bases are decorated with applied metal scrollwork and central flower, the tops of the pedestal bases are fully decorated, they are slightly uneven/misshapen, the wood lining remains secure with typical minor panel separation noted, overall surface wear is limited to slight nicks, small dings, and minor abrasions to the metal surfaces, please see numerous attached images for your review, I am not an expert on such items, so please let me know if you have further questions
