(pair) Large Japanese Kutani porcelain chargers, Meiji period (1868-1912), reserved with Imperial figures, (one) intact with stable faint hairline at rim, approx 3"h, 22"diam; 23.25lbs total
7.29.25: In my opinion regarding, the pair are overall intact, a UV light examination was rather unremarkable, as described, one charger does appear to have a stable hairline at the rim, appearing to meander and extend inward a few inches, it is only faintly visible from front and back, however does not react under UV light, both display some small areas of loss to decorated surfaces, inherent imperfections such as pitting, glaze variation, stilt marks, and light wear along edges and underfoot, there are no apparent major chips or restorations observed
