(pair) Large gilt bronze and porcelain five-light candelabra, each having vasiform standard with dual figural handles, issuing five foliate arms with applied porcelain flowers, rising on scrolled base, approx 47"h, 17"diam, 64.5lbs total
CR 8.29.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT 3161: I note that both fixtures stand sturdy, with the ormolu and porcelain elements remain securely mounted to one another. The metal exhibits an overall uniform tone with light patination and spotting. Close visual examination of the porcelain reveals typical rubs and mellowing to the gilded enamel, and sparse typical minor chips to the floral elements, and some reinforcement at joinery to stem. Minor hairlines are also common, but I do not currently observe visible fractures. UV light examination is unremarkable and does not reveal hairlines/ fractures or evidence of restoration throughout both urns. Please refer to attached images.
