02.07.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1437: I note that both sculptures are currently intact and structurally sturdy, both exhibit very light inherent gray colored natural inclusions and tonal variations, there are some minor scattered chips and light abrasions, including to the edges of the base which don’t appear to be structurally integral, and to the petals of carved roses held by one maiden, a blacklight examination was performed on both sculptures and was unremarkable, I do not currently observe fractures to either sculptures
