08.23.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 3198: The marble top/ display surface measures approximately 15”h, 10.75”w, I note that both vitrines are presently intact and structurally sturdy, the marble having inherent natural inclusions and fissures, one marble top having two professionally reinforced or filled restorations, the ormolu is securely mounted and exhibits light patination, the veneer being overall well-retained with some sparse, minute nicks to edges, all glass of glazed doors and shelves are intact and free from observed fractures or hairlines, there is typical minute chipping/ fleabites to the edges of glass shelves commensurate with use and contact against case or shelf supports
