(1)boy in red – the canvas is possibly relined, a UV examination shows evidence of old varnish, and craquelure throughout, and there are what appear to be spotting or paint flakes?? primarily concentrated at the back of the figure's coat, and in the foliage behind him, I have taken images for your review, there are small areas of paint loss along the edges where the work meets frame, rear canvas is as pictured, the frame is intact with some typical glue restorations, small losses, paint touchups,and wear to finish <br><br>


(2)    Little girl- this work is also likely relined, a UV examination shows heavy old varnish with some drips, craquelure, and small areas of paint wear along the frame edge, and there are a few small flakes to paint, rear canvas is as pictured, the frame is intact with some glue restorations at corners and flowers, chipping to finish, touchups to paint, and a loss of one floral element at upper left frame
