09.04.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 2206: I note that both pedestals are presently intact and structurally sturdy, all elements appearing secure to one another at joinery points, the gilt metal elements having typical patination and areas of minor pitting, the marble exhibits inherent natural inclusions and fissures, one display top has a shallow, smooth chip near the edge, both pedestals have varying degrees of professionally filled chips and minorly reinforced fissures, most of them being small in size and seamless, UV light examination reveals a reinforced fracture at the base of one pedestal and appears to be structurally secure
