02.10.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT 3285: I note that both cabinets stand sturdy, the marble tops are free from observed hairlines/ fractures or evidence of restoration, having typical minor chipping at the edges commensurate with age and use, the ebonized finish having areas of “alligatoring”/ crazing, the cut brass inlay is overall well-retained with a few small, scattered losses, cabinet doors remain tight on hinges, one with a minor, stable seam of central separation, interior shelving appears sturdy, and the metal elements remain securely mounted with light patination and spotting, I observe minor evidence of old woodworm commensurate with origin
