(pair) French Napoleon III rosewood corner cabinets, late 19th c., each having canted triangular marble top, conforming case with cast bronze rinceau mounts, and Sevres-style parcel-gilt and painted porcelain plaque insets, single cabinet door revealing fixed shelving, on bracket feet, approx 44.25"h, 32"w, 18.75"d **Note: matching side cabinet offered in this auction**
CR 9.3.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT 3132: I note that both cabinets stand sturdy and appear to remain structurally sound, all joinery points appearing secure, the marble tops with typical light discoloration/ staining and some minor chips at edges commensurate with age and use, the bronze elements remain securely mounted throughout, with tonal variations associated with patination and mellowing, the porcelain plaque remains secure within framing and free from observed hairlines or chipping, having typical light rubs to enameled floral motifs, the veneer with scattered minor splits, many occurring along the matched grain, some with filled concealment, I observe some typical panel separation with filled reinforcement, as well as some small chips commensurate with age and use, the doors operate smoothly and are equipped with later lock plates, interior shelving appears sturdy, please refer to attached images
