08.28.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 3193: I note that both pedestals are presently intact and structurally sturdy, UV light examination reveals professional filled reinforcement of fissures and hairlines at the square display top, the column, and the base, some fills also appear to be applied to areas of natural porosity of the stone and some small chips commensurate with use, the marble displays inherent natural inclusions, fissures, and variations to the stone, the ormolu appears securely mounted throughout, a couple spots having a small area of visible glue reinforcement at joinery to marble
