02.22.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1354: I note that the pedestals are presently intact and structurally sturdy, with the columns appearing to be secure to the base, and the ormolu securely mounted, there is light patination and pitting of the ormolu, and the marble displays inherent natural inclusions, fissures, and tonal variations, as well as having areas of fill/ reinforcement and possible professional restoration to hairlines or areas of loss, areas of fill fluoresce under blacklight examination and occur at varying degrees, most of them being very minor, adhesive at the joinery seam of column and base in slightly visible, and there is minute surface wear concentrated to corner edges of the base and pedestal top
