08.29.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 3202: I note that both chairs are presently intact and structurally secure, with legs appearing secure at joinery to seat, as described the tapestry upholstery is worn, which includes varying degrees of staining and discoloration, and separation in the weft throughout, all upholstery remains taut and securely bound to frame, one chair having a region of water staining and a few small tears to the upholstery lining the verso of seat back, the nail head trim having typical patination, I observe typical minor surface wear, which is sparse, such as light rubs to the finish at the scrolled hand holds, and a few minor nicks/ chips to carved elements commensurate with age and use
