(pair) Rococo Revival carved walnut armchairs/ bergeres, early 20th c., each having fanned rocaille crest, above padded back, seat, and arms in later floral patterned upholstery, with ribbon trim, rising on cabriole legs, ending on whorl feet, approx 51"h, 31.5"w, 24"d, seat height: approx 16"h
CR 1.5.26 - In my opinion regarding LOT: 2147- due to current gallery location, I am unable to fully access both chairs, please refer to online images for full-zoomed and best views, the chairs are sturdy and sit firm, frames display some typical scattered small nicks and minor wood wear to protruding carvings, I note some tonal variation to finish, one crest is with a minor, small split at the upper left, see images, the upholstery is intact and free of major rips or tears, I note some slight and scattered spotting and minor picks to applied trim, all mentioned commensurate with age and use
