09/09/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT 3471: Please note that I am not an expert on antique textiles and tapestries, following my close visual examination, I have identified a woven signature (initialed E.M.,) and a date of 1892 near the lower right corner of one tapestry, I note that both weaves remain taut and secure within framing, both are free from noted tearing, holes, or evidence of restoration, each having typical small thread pulls and minute losses commensurate with age and use/ display, including a few minute spots with visible underlying weft/ wove, there are tonal variations throughout associated with typical fading and light discoloration/ staining, the giltwood frames also with typical minor surface wear such as small chips along the edge
