Condition

10.31.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT 3266: I note that both chairs stand sturdy and appear structurally secure throughout joinery, one with a minute reinforcement of shallow separation at the back of crest, the other with two minor restorations to crest (see images), the needlepoint upholstery remains securely bound throughout, having light discoloration and fading, and areas of threadbare, particularly at the seat and arms, all commensurate with age and use, the fabric lining the seat back with small tears and loose threads (see images), and would benefit from re-upholstery, I observe some minute splits and separation, as are typical and commensurate with age, with minor filled reinforcement, additionally I note sparse, minor evidence of old woodworm commensurate with origin, the walnut frame retaining an overall uniform tone, and the casters operate smoothly
