05.16.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 2256: Following close visual and UV light examination, I note that all vases are presently intact and structurally secure, sitting comfortably against flat surface, the covers have varied lengths of interior rim but all fit comfortably within mouth of vase, I observe one cover with gilt-painted touch ups to the finial, and another with a couple minor chips to rim, the finials exhibit typical firing flaws, and two have minute chips at the tip of the ears of the foo dogs, one vase has a hairline extending horizontally across the upper body but remains fully intact, foot rings remain smooth, and I observe typical minor iron pitting concentrated at the mouth and foot
