(lot of 3) Empire style rouge marble and patinated bronze mantel garniture set, each with bronze dore mounts, featuring figural supports modeled as draped female caryatids, including: (1) mantel clock, having architectural pediment-form case, enclosing white dial with Roman numeral hour markers, marked Boyer a Angera, unmarked time-and-strike movement, on platform base with scrolled foliate frieze, further raised on bun feet, accompanied by Apollo mask pendulum, lacking back movement access door, not currently operational, appears wound tight, approx 31"h, 18.5"w, 8"d; (pair) matching nine-light candelabra, approx 44"h, 16"w, 15"d

Condition

02.17.2026- In my opinion regarding LOT: 3243- the set is overall intact showing minimal wear and a very few scattered small losses, the marble plinths on garnitures and clock base are largely intact, I note only a few typical tiny rim/edge chips, very minute professional stabilization to clock base right side edge and rear corner, this is very small and visible only under UV light, the set stands sturdy, both gilt and patinated bronze elements are secure and present, I note some slight surface wear, mellowing and rubs, particularly to the protruding elements, such as the nose of each figure, feet and drape, the pendulum is present, as described the rear glass of clock case is missing, the clock is not currently operational, it winds with extreme difficulty indicating that the movement may be wound tight, it is accompanied by a pendulum, the suspension spring is intact and the bell and striker are present, as mentioned the clock is lacking a back access door, as with all of our clock sets, this piece would likely benefit from a professional adjustment and a thorough cleaning of the movement
