(3) Antique U.S. Uniforms: (1) Undress Coat, dark blue, tagged at the interior with a partial readable seller tag, "Fifth Avenue, New York", the 2" stand up collar with "USV and crossed rifle insignia secures with two hook and eyes, all 8 buttons present at front, all buttons present at sword slits, the two part front, hem and the sword slits faced with 1.5" wide mohair braid, the interior lining including sleeves in very good condition, two interior pockets, overall very good condition, shoulder to shoulder 17", shoulder to sleeve hem 26.5", shoulder to coat hem 28"; (1) Undress Coat, black, (possibly a period fraternal organization coat), tagged at the interior "The Cincinnati Regalia Company, Cincinnati, Ohio", a 1.5"h stand up collar secured by two hook and eyes, all 7 buttons present at front, sword slits are secured by hook and eyes, the two part front, hem and swords slits faced with 1.25" wide mohair braid, the interior lining including sleeves is in good condition, the right sleeve lining with stamped and handwritten numbers, overall in good condition but with at least one moth hole at back, shoulder to shoulder 16.5", shoulder to sleeve hem 25.5", shoulder to coat hem 27.5"; (1) Undress Summer Coat having considerable water staining, 1.75" stand up collar secured by two hook and eyes and now having mounted artillery insignia, the coat with epaulettes having 1st Lieutenant 'bars', speciously added model 1872 eagle badges and post 1885 eagle buttons by H.V. Allien & Co. NY,, the coat retains four of the original eight buttons with two later buttons, the coat front, hem and side slits are faced with 1.25" wide braiding, the interior with one pocket and without lining, shoulder to shoulder 16.25", shoulder to sleeve hem 25.5", shoulder to coat hem 25.5" **Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
