(32) GERMAN WWII OFFICIALS SIGNED NOTES, GORING FORMS

(lot of 32) German WWII High Officials signed letters, Goring letterhead items: (6) signed typed letters from various Nazi officials, most with Nazi letter stamp, to Paul Giesler (Germany,1895-1945), Gaultier and appointed Interior Minister in the Goebbels cabinet immediately after Hitlers suicide, Geisler fled the Allies together with his wife whom he shot dead and shot himself, he died of his would on May 8, 1945: (A) 12/8/1941 from Gauleiter Friedrich Rainer (1903-1950), said to be imprisoned by the Yugoslav Communist authorities acting as informant and finally executed in 1950, this a letter of thanks for Geisler's congratulations to Rainer regarding his new position; (B) 6/13/1942. from Gaultier Otto Telschow congratulating Geisler on his birthday, Telschow (b. 1876), died by suicide May 31, 1945; (C) 6/30/1943 from Ernst Wilhelm Bohle (born in England,1903), SS and Gaultier, acquitted of war crimes but pleaded guilty to subordinate charges, imprisoned until 1954, this letter thanking Giesler for his promotion; (D) 5/12/1943, letter from Herbert Friedrich Wilhelm Backe (1896-1947), SS Obergruppenfuher, implemented the "Hunger Plan", a program of mass starvation resulting in the death of more than four million Soviet persons, a letter thanking Giesler for birthday wishes; (E) 9/22/1943, letter from Alfred Keller (1892-1974) a commander of German air forces in WWI and later a general and Luftwaffe commander in WWII, he was a British prisoner until 1947, thanking Giesler for birthday wishes; (F) 3/11/1943, letter from Hanns Oberlindober (Warsaw, 1896-1949), head of the National Socialist War Victims Association, a 1948 U.S. prisoner, extradited to Poland in 1949, thanking Giesler for birthday wishes; (23) partially pre-filled notes on the letterhead of Hermann Goring, "Der Reichsmarschall des GroBdeutfchen Reiches (Reich Marshal of the Greater German Reich), for an adjutant to forward or answer inquiries to and from Goring; (2) photos of Ernst Friedrich Christoph Sauckel (Bavaria, 1894-1946), in1942 he was appointed General Plenipotentiary for Labor Deployment, overseeing forced and slave labor for the German war machine eventually including as many as 12 million persons, Sauckel was put on trial for war crimes, found guilty and hung at Nuremberg in October, 1946; (1) small map of Germany delinating postal codes, no date Detailed condition reports are not included in this catalog.
