1.2.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1686: I note that bowls are presently intact, all four bowls display varying degrees of typical gilt loss/ wear throughout the rim, the pair of smaller bowls exhibit minute iron pitting, light glaze pops, and minor firing flaws, one of the larger, octagonal bowls displays a minor glaze defect to the exterior edges and several minor chips to the rim, the other has one minute chip at the rim, examination under blacklight does not suggest further damage or evidence of restoration<br><br>Detailed condition reports are not included in this catalog.
