CR 3.24.25-In my opinion regarding: LOT 2492: There were not observed marks on any of the brackets; I note that all brackets are presently intact, hanging sturdy on the wall and appearing structurally sturdy, the gilt finish is overall well-preserved with tonal variations associated with patination and light spotting, as well as having minor craquelure, and some sparse minute flaked losses, as is typical and commensurate with use, please note it does not appear that these have gesso underlying the gilt, at sights of flaked loss there is faintly visible resin, the sparse occurrences of surface wear such as light abrasions and small nicks also being commensurate with age and use
