09.04.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 3251: I note that all chairs are presently intact and structurally sturdy, the leather being secure at both ends of attachment to chair frame, and being overall well-preserved, having typical light creasing, the seats being very slightly sagged in the middle and front edge commensurate with use, the seat backs remaining taut, one chair seat having some minute spotting, I do not currently observe peeling or tearing to the leather, I observe patination of the nail-head trim, and one chair has varying degrees of chipped loss (not affecting structural integrity) with remnants of a restoration attempt to the edges of both front legs, and there is sparse typical minor surface wear such as minor nicks and abrasions to frame commensurate with age and use
