(lot of 4) Civil War Swords and others: (1) the 28" blade marked at the left ricasso "Made by Ames Mfg. Co., Chicopee, ", the right ricasso marked "U.S, A.D.K. (inspector A.D. King, 1862", unmarked brass guard, handle and pommel, a partial leather and brass scabbard in poor condition with a break, overall length with scabbard: 35.75"l; (1) Model 1860 Staff and Field Officer sword, the 32" blade embellished with marking including "U.S.", eagle, stars, flag, shield, foliage and more, the left ricasso maker marked "The M.C. Lilley & Co, Columbus, OH", the right ricasso with a walking bear indicating the blade was made in Solingen, Germany, the guard with a single clam shell having a raised eagle and flags, the handle is now wood only and lacks leather and wire wrap, an eagle and shield at the pommel. housed in a rusted steel scabbard, overall approx. 38.75"l; (1) Patriotic Order Sons of America sword, Masonic, the 28" very dark blade embellished at both sides with scrolling and foliate decoration, no maker name at ricasso, shell guard with eagle and flags, wire wrapped handle with loss, the pommel is a bust of George Washington, housed in s scabbard with the POSA initials, rust and finish loss, overall approx. 35.5"l; (1) mounted officer style sword having a 28.25" unmarked blade, the "D" form guard with langets, wire wrapped handle with sword knot, housed in black steel scabbard with rust, two nicks on blade, overall approx. 38.75"l, for shipping total of both approx.7,70lbs **Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
