(lot of 4) U.S WWI Era Items: (1) U.S. Model 1917 "Knuckle Duster" Trench Knife, the 8.75" triangular blade marked at the D guard "U.S., L.F. & C., 1917 (Landers, Frary, and Clark, New Britain Ct., operated 1842-1965), the D guard with 7 raised 'knuckles', wood finger grip handle, housed in the original leather and steel scabbard marked "Jewell 1918" (Jewell Belting Co, Hartford, Ct.), further stamped "HE." and "MS", knife wood handle with scratching, worn leather on scabbard, overall approx. 14.75"l; (1) Mills Woven belt, last patent date July 16, 1907; (1) M1914 cartridge pouch with three pockets for loose .45 1911 cartridges; (1) Model 1881 Holster, brown leather, marked at the back belt loop, "G&K, 1918, A.G" (Graton & Knight Manufacturing Worcester, Mass), for shipping 15" x 4.25" x 5", total of all 2.45lbs **Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
