(lot of 4) U.S. Army Model 1910 Aluminum Canteens: (1) marked "U.S.-1918-T.J.W.B.M. Co ( The John W. Brown Manufacturing Co.), carried by a leather strap with snap hook, cover stenciling appears to be CCC and 952;  (1) marked "5, U.S. ACA 1918", (Aluminum Company of America, Alcoa), no carry strap, exterior cover marked "U.S." and "49", interior flap marked "Brauer Bros Mfg.Co, 1917"body with dents; (1) the interior cup with handle marked at the underside "U.S. 1918-B.A. Co. (Buckeye Aluminum Co., Ohio), the canteen is marked "Japan", the cover stenciled "U.S." and hand written at the back "Lewis Eisner", the interior flap marked "Long 11-17", cloth carry strap; (1) both the interior cup and canteen are marked "U.S., AGM Co, 1918", cover is marked "U.S. 44", the interior flap marked "Long-12-17, the strap is leather with a snap hook, for shipping each approx. 8.25" x 6" x 3.25", total of all 4.60lbs **Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
