Wallace Reid Wible Sr, (Texas, Penna,1926-2016) and at right Corporal Ira Hamilton Hayes (Gila River Indian Community, Arizona, 1923-1955), Hayes, having participated in the second raising of the American flag at Iwo Jima on Feb. 23, 1945., an event made famous by the Joe Rosenthal, Associated Press iconic photograph, Hayes had recently returned from a War Bond Drive in in the U.S to the 5th Division's occupation of Japan, Ira Hayes is buried at Arlington Nation Cemetery about 1/2 mile from the U.S. Marine Corps Memorial where Hayes is depicted as one of the Iwo Jima flag raisers; (1) WII map, Sasebo, Japan, 1944, Second Edition, "For Use By War and Navy Department Agencies Only, Not for Sale of Distribution", further marked in ink ""February 19, 1945-D Day" (Marine invasion of Iwo Jima), folds and some tears, approx. 22"h, 19"w; (1) Book: "The Spearhead, 5th Marine Division", Howard M.
