(lot of 5) 1910 Cavalry, WWI Scrapbook, Photos, Letters: (1)  Archive scrap book of Albert Goldsmith Clifford (Mass. 1876-1932) who enlisted in Troop A, 1st Squadron Cavalry, Massachusetts Volunteer Guard in June, 1908, 1916 service on the Mexico border, 1st Sgt. in the Guard nationalized in 1917, 1st Lieut. Aviation Section, Signal Corps, includes his photo, letters beginning in 1916 at the Mexico border in El Paso, officer training and flight schools in  Ohio and Texas1917, his photo on page 4 of an advertising magazine published by the Thomas G. Plant Co. (a military supplier), letters from England and France, letters are well written descriptive and easy to read; (1) photo album entitled "Souvenir U.S. Army Maneuvers 1910", many color photo cards showing U.S. 13th Cavalry Regiment in the Philippines with battle scenes during the Moro Uprising, some personal photos included; (1) family photo album that include soldiers and sailors, Naval Academy, ships with USS Minnesota, USS Florida, biplane, period automobiles and more; (2) WWII era U.S. Army stationary folios; for shipping largest measures approx. 11.5" x 9" x 2.25", total of all 7.40lbs **Provenance: Collection of T'Odon Charles (Chuck) Leshikar, Jr., (Texas,1946-2020), Vietnam, U.S. Army Lt. ,“Delta Raiders,” D Company, 2nd Battalion, 501st Airborne Infantry Regiment, later Echo Company commander, Silver Star, three Bronze Stars, Soldiers Medal, Purple Heart.
