09/08/2026: In my opinion regarding LOT 2186: Upon close visual examination, I note that the seat upholstery remains securely bound throughout the perimeter of seat, and is free from observed tearing or holes, each having a comparable degree of typical minor staining/ discoloration and fading commensurate with age and use, one chair with minor loss to the caning at edge of seat back (see image), the weave remains intact, all other chairs exhibit well-maintained caning and are free from notable losses, the joinery of one chair where the back meets the seat is slightly loose, all other chairs stand sturdy, the walnut frames display typical minor surface wear such light abrasions and small nicks consistent with use
