03.25.25: In my opinion regarding LOT 3398: I note that all chairs are presently intact and stand sturdy, all elements appearing secure at joinery, the upholstery remaining taut and securely bound throughout, fabric is currently free from observed tearing, holes, or restoration, with sparse minor staining, mostly light spotting, a few spots of minor impressions/ creasing to the seats, all being commensurate with use, the nail-head trim with typical patination/ oxidation and some grime build up within crevices that would benefit from a cleaning, the painted finish of the frame with tonal variations arising from areas of yellowing and overall discoloration, spotting, and typical chipped and flaked losses commensurate with age and use, in addition to typical surface wear such as small chips, nicks, and abrasions
