03.20.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1283: I note that all chairs are presently intact and structurally sturdy, a couple of the chairs display varying degrees of staining to the upholstery, and all upholstery appears to remain tautly bound to the frame, with patination of the nailhead trim, the frame paint exhibits minor craquelure, and the frames appear to be repainted based on some visible areas of a darker cream colored paint at areas where newer paint has been worn or chipped, there are areas of minor tonal variation to the frame, and typical surface wear such as light abrasions and paint chips/ loss concentrated at the lower leg and square knees
