(lot of 6) German postmodern "Circo" bentwood dining chairs, Herbert Ohl (1926-2012) for Lubke, c.1980s, in a black lacquered finish, arched backrest above the circular seat, on stretcher-joined supports, accompanied by later seat cushions, approx 29.5"h, 20.5"w, 20.5"d, seat height: 18.25"h
9.26.25 - In my opinion regarding LOT 1209: The chairs retain a maker label to the underside of seat at the back edge (see image), I note that the chairs are structurally sturdy, the black lacquered finish with some scattered flaked losses, scuffs, and nicks commensurate with use, the spindling is overall well-kept with some minor bending/ warping to the seat spindles consistent with use, all remain structurally stable, the later cushions retain well-shaped padding and the fabric is free from observed tearing or holes, please see attached images for reference
