(lot of 7) Texas Rangers photos: (2) Texas Rangers 1939 training school photographs, one framed, Texas Department of Public Safety, Homer Garrison, Jr., Director (1901-1968), Chief of Texas Rangers from 1938-1968, shown in this photo at center of standing front row, S.S. Hamm (Seabren Hamm (1898-1966), Texas Rangers Assistant Director, 1930's-1940's, Captain Co. A & Co. B, shown in this photo to Garrison's right; (3) Texas Rangers at the Dallas headquarters of Company B, 1938, 1939 and one not dated, two with identified Rangers including Capt. Royal Phillips, Bob Crowder, Dick Oldham, Stewart Stanley, Ernest Daniel C.G. Rush, R. L. Badgett, F.W. Albright; (2) photos including Robert 'Bob' Crowder, (1901-1972), served as Capt. Company C and Acting Chief of Texas Rangers, in 1955 Crowder entered alone into Rusk State Hospital where 81 rioting inmates were holding hostages. Crowder was able to end the riot without blood shed, one photo is signed by Crowder with sentiment to R. L. Badgett (1901-1983, Ranger from 1942-1969), in 1947 Badgett acted as a special agent for the Governor of Texas assigned to return a fugitive from Brazil to Texas), all photos are approx. 8" x 10", for shipping framed item is 8.75" x 10.5", total of all is 1.05lbs
