Condition

08.29.24: In my opinion regarding LOT 1301: I note that all pieces are presently intact, the various stones displaying inherent natural inclusions and fissures, all having typical minute chipping of varying degree, almost all being smooth/ old and minute in size, the gui tablet exhibits fading of the calligraphy, the cong having two reinforced hairlines, the recumbent foo lion has a white powdery residue that would be resolved with a thorough cleaning, the red stone seal with a minute hairline under the neck of a dragon, and a minute glue reinforcement of a hairline at the end of the dragons tail, minor chipping and light surface wear such as light abrasions are typical and commensurate with age and use.
